They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. I just thought that part was odd. They haven't been installed yet so I need to update my review once that happens. I would give these doors 5 stars for the thickness of glass and quality but because the instructions left a lot to desire and difficult to assemble correctly causing friction between the two doors and hard to roll. Very clever kit with very minimal written directions. Pictorials don’t completely explain some things, but you can figure it out if you are good at assembling. It took at least a full week to assemble it. More hands help, or use temporary bracing to hold parts in place. It just included a small screwdriver and wrench, but luckily I had a ratcheting socket wrench set, and hired a highly skilled handyman, who had a cordless drill. We set the base on PT 4x4. Three 12’ long worked, but you need to assemble the bottom 1st, then measure to exact sizes. I will add a couple photos to show the “clips” used to hold panels in place. Overall, it’s pretty solid after complete assembly and no pieces were missing, which was a relief. It won’t stay very warm if not sheltered. All the braces go on the inner side & all the plastic panels go on the outside. The vents assembly has to be hooked under the edge of the ridge at top, and set so they can hook slots in #4 pieces onto the tab (it should point up). Pictures should show that better. Pros: The weight of the door is good if you upgrade to the thicker glass. The overall look is nice. Cons: The rollers are uneven and loud, the installer said they are on the cheaper side and expected higher quality from Kohler. The two doors have different opacity in the frosting with the permanent one frosted and the roller door more see through. The black lines are not metal lining as we expected but instead black paint inside the glass. Installation is incredibly difficult and took our experienced contractor over 5 hours and continual frustration. Overall, it is an OK door for the price but left a lot to be desired.. Frosty323. First of all very difficult to read instructions. It came instead of being black with clear polycarbonate or came as green supports with white poly. Whole structure is very flimsy and even with it all together still not very sturdy. Took me 20 hours over 5 days to finally get it together.
