Beautiful piece, and heavier/more solidly built than similar designs. Overall I'm happy with it, though it did arrive with some minor damage to one of the panels, and as others have noted, the white finish does rub off easily and get everywhere. I think I can easily repair the broken areas with wood glue and have decided to repaint it anyway (the distressing is uneven and makes the piece look lower quality than it is, the white is very chalky and uneven). The packaging was pretty good, but I don't know why they don't put a thin layer of foam between the panels, I think a lot of the breakage issues could be avoided with 1/4" thick sheet of foam to cushion the filigree work. The cutouts are very "rustic," so expect some rough areas and inconsistencies. The overall impression is still very nice, but I wouldn't put it near anything that could get snagged. A wonderful plus: my cat, who climbs everything, has not been able to scale this yet. I'm sure he'll keep trying, and maybe eventually manage it, but for now he has made 2 attempts and failed to get over it or knock it down, it's pretty sturdy.. Kimberly. El Cajon, CA. This is a fabulous room divider, HOWEVER, I originally ordered 1, then immediately decided I needed 2, so I ordered my 2nd one. Well the 1st came, it was in the worst condition, to say the least. You could "easily" see were at the factory they had done repairs to where the edges meet. This was in many, many areas, and different shades of staining in some (large) places. I received my replacement due to DAMAGE, that was ALSO in poor condition! WOW I thought, again? Now I will call Wayfair for one more replacement & that's it then. Keeping my fingers crossed that the next one is in good condition!!!!! Wayfair IS very good with issues like this, I'm sure they will take care of me. BTW, I had 4 dividers so far delivered to the house, one of them was in good condition, Yeah, just a chip in the upper fan design, I can live with that since the rest of it is in good condition. I gave 4 Stars because if you "happen to receive" one that is in "good condition" it is a nice item for privacy, classy looking with the wider blinds. I give it a 4 star because even though I love the style and look but the fabrication is very weak and stable as it I not leveled , it has these small pegs at the bottom supposedly to keep it from moving but it slants and keeps one panel swinging, so I have to keep it bend in a way I didnt really want to because the 3 panel is actually too small especially if it is bending and at that point it really doesnt make sense to have one that is if you really want to divide a section. I only kept it because Im using it as a corner for reading and meditation, but it doesnt give me much privacy, but its only me at home, so it works .
