It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. I had bought a table and chair set from Wayfair a few years ago. The table was great, with a glass top. A freak windstorm flipped the umbrella we had in the table and shattered the glass in a million pieces. We needed a new table that would work with the chairs were still had.
