Very good quality and heavy. I wanted something that was durable, could drain and leave out all winter. Fairly easy to set up. Only issue, If it's windy out you have to shut it off. Love this fountain! Could use better instructions so I’m adding a few tips about installation 1. Only one cord comes out of the bottom (drawing showed 2) 2. Warm plastic tube w a hair dryer to soften it for insertion 3. There is a (mostly) round plastic cap that should be placed over the reservoir tube (once you’ve snaked the power cord thru) to protect the plug from water. 4. Would recommend putting fountain together indoors. It’s tricky. Also, it weighs 40 pounds without water, so don’t add water til you get it outside and are ready to go. 5. I used clear postal tape to strap the top to the reservoir to keep it secure while moving it out of the house. 6. The cord is about 6’ long but runs the length of the base, leaving 3-4’. Plan accordingly. I placed my unit in front of a window so I could snake the cord under the window and plug it in inside (used an extension cord). 7. I added 2 copper disks to reduce algae build-up.. I think this tabletop fountain is a very good value. I really like the bubbles that are within the glass orb that spins upon the water. The orb lights up and creates a pretty shadow at the top of the heart. It also has a nice soothing sound without being intrusive. I am very pleased with the quality and value of this fountain. Update: I moved the product in more of an open area where the buzz sound isn't so prevalent. I find that our guests are mesmerized by it! It's a great conversation piece. I added a star for that from my original review Previous review: I wanted to really like this, however, the sound the motor makes may be relaxing to others, but the buzz is not relaxing to my ears and more of an irritant. Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! The fake copper lip that the water falls from is NOT LEVEL ! Therefore the waterfall will never be like the picture in a nice V fall.
