Adding more pics after I used a black sharpie on all the grout. Black grout is more like cement color. It made a huge difference to me. The other looked all washed out. I attached a couple pics of my backsplash to show the before and after of me professional sharpie touch-up. Backsplash is also from Wayfair. It will not be installed for a few weeks, so I can add that picture later. I bought this for a fireplace surround. I expected it to be a bit wider, but that was my issue. It clearly shows the size. Typical subway is a bit wider. I liked the bit of variation. I think it will look even better with the black grout I plan to use. The other is what I am planning for my backsplash. That will also be black grout and also from Wayfair. I do not know how they packed so much bubble wrap in the box. Not one tile arrived damaged. If it had, it would not have been for lack of trying. It is tile, so I can see how it could still get broken. I am happy it did not! I just placed my order for the remaining tiles. I had to order a box to really guage. This tile is beautiful! It looks darker in my photo, but in person it is really pretty. It is not quite the deep marine blue in the Wayfair photo, but it is lovely. It has variations in color and some smaller specks of color that add depth. I am so happy I went with a bolder color and not a safe, lighter blue. I like to find unusual materials for my decorating projects, and I fell in love with these tiles on sight. The 2x6 size was a little pricy for me, so I created a design incorporating the 2x6 with the 12x24 and a contrasting 24 bullnose trim. Absolutely love the look. The grass color is more of a sage than a true green, not bright but beautiful and understated, especially with the matte linen texture. Be aware that these are porcelain and extremely hard to drill into. If you want to hang accessories for towels or TP, I recommend the following Mark the spot and cover with clear packing tape. Use a glass tile spade-type bit just to pierce the surface. Then use a concrete bit larger than the hole you need just to make a divot (the initial pierce will keep the bit from wandering). Finally, put a diamond bit into the divot and drill all the way through. Trust me, you will need that diamond bit - before I discovered it, I spent 45 minutes drilling one hole. Also, be sure to spray the concrete and diamond bits with water continually while drilling. These were a lot of work (leveling, spacing, and lots of grout lines to fill), but totally worth it!.
