Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. I’m overall pleased with this plant and would recommend if you are looking for a large fake plant, and price is not a consideration. In comparison to other faux plants I would say this is nicer than most, but the price point is pretty inflated- even for the quality. Up close it’s clearly fake, but details at the base are really nice. The base had a good weight so it won’t tip over. The palm fronds are quite difficult to bend but once bent to a shape you want it will stay that way. The packaging was not great and it barely made it here in one piece so that’s a concern.. Jessica. This faux palm plant is cute and it’s easy to put together really simple only thing is I wish it was a little bit heavier so it wouldn’t topple over so easily so if you have pets or kids who just be running around or getting just be getting into stuff I would suggest get some cute rocks of your choice to put on the top of the green part on the pot so it can weigh it down more but it’s worth your money. This outdoor palm tree looks great on our patio and was exactly what we needed for the space. It does not look quite as realistic as the indoor ficus tree we previously purchased from Wayfair, but that was expected since this one is designed for outdoor use. For an exterior setting, it still looks very nice and adds a tropical feel to the area. The size was accurate, setup was simple, and the materials seem durable enough to handle outdoor conditions. Once arranged and fluffed out, it filled the corner space perfectly and added a relaxing resort-style touch to our deck area. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.
