Suggest mounting it into a stud or installing blocking in the wall behind if possible because it sticks out far enough that a kid pulling on it or an adult using it to brace themselves could lead to major drywall damage.. I think the corrosion is a common occurrence with the bronze finish if you can’t keep them really dry, but not sure why both faucets I ordered are leaking so bad now because of my plumber or the product.
