They will last your lifetime and through your children’s lives. The pan comes unseasoned so the color is more bronze, after seasoning they will be black. The instructions are all pictures, which I usually like. However, some of the pictures are so tiny that it is difficult to discern exactly what we were to do at that step. We did, therefore, have a couple of disassembles and reassembles. One such issue was easy to correct. The other took about 45 minutes to redo, but honestly, we should have caught our error earlier.
