Door was installed in an exact 44" opening. There is a gap between the doors when they are fully shut but no water escapes the shower. A thin plastic strip should be included to correct the gap but it really doesn't matter. The inner door was difficult to install and adjust. It kept slipping off the track on the bottom plate.
