The iBox Universal Plus Rough is designed to make renovations and new installations a breeze – “one rough fits all” is the motto of the iBox rough-in valve. Once installed, the universal rough is compatible with all standard Hansgrohe and AXOR shower trims, enabling a wide selection of finish and functional options. Configure your ideal shower experience with Hansgrohe’s single-rough solution supplying water flow to multiple outlets (showerhead, tub spout, handheld shower, etc.). Select your desired thermostatic or pressure balance shower trim kit (and diverter, if needed) to pair with your universal iBox shower rough-in valve. Rubber seals and trim carrier plate reduce in-wall vibrations and minimize noise transfer through finished wall. Standard 3/4-inch pipe inlets. Compatible with 1/2-inch pipes (reducers not included) – and all pipe types (brass, PVC, plastics, copper, etc.). PVC housing designed to penetrate finished wall surface to prevent leaks, as well as to allow direct access to water shut-off valves and for servicing without tile removal. Installation PVC housing is lightweight and allows unit to be trimmed to precisely fit your finished wall depth. Recommend licensed plumber for installation. This rough valve by Hansgrohe is expertly designed to fit the Axor Starck Rough-in Valve for Starck Shower Column. This valve is required for installation and will not work on any product except the Starck Shower Column.

The effortless enjoyment of Gerber® Plumbing Fixtures floor mount tub fillers begins with the simple installation of the rough-in valve. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. A test cap and plugs are included for pressure testing the connection between the rough-in valve and water supply lines.
