I would give these doors 5 stars for the thickness of glass and quality but because the instructions left a lot to desire and difficult to assemble correctly causing friction between the two doors and hard to roll. Looks great. The strip that keeps water from flowing out the bottom of the door isn’t adhesive enough so I’m going to have to glue it down with something stronger. Until I do that, I just keep the door slightly ajar about a 5 degree angle while in the shower (my door opens into the shower) and the water rolls down the door and into the drain. That’s why I’m so glad the hinges were reversible and I could set the door to open into the shower, a big deal because I didn’t have space to open the shower into the room. Also the shower came with more than enough of that strip that goes at the bottom in case I should have to cut another piece I’ll have enough. No other water issues Another reviewer mentioned that it should’ve came with two of those L shaped wall brackets, I agree that would make it more sturdy. It seemed wobbly when it was first assembled but once the silicon was dry it’s pretty solid, you have to be very careful those first few days until it dries though. The glass is beautiful the hinges are not too shiny and look sturdy. I squeegee the glass almost daily because it’s fun but even when I don’t, there aren’t any spots. This helps in the sustainable use of resources and reduces the plastic content in the environment. The brushed surface in is easy to clean. It corresponds to the color of the hansgrohe special surfaces for fittings (FinishPlus). So everything fits perfectly together. Easy to install. The shower door handle is placed on the door from the inside and outside and fastened with two screws. The hole spacing is approx. 13.8 in; the Diameter of the drill hole is approx 0.5 in. The glass thickness can be between 0.25-0.5 in.
