The effortless enjoyment of Gerber® Plumbing Fixtures floor mount tub fillers begins with the simple installation of the rough-in valve. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The Royal’s main feature is the U-shape door made from custom brushed stainless steel with a frosted tempered glass window to give the bathtub a contemporary look. The door swings into the bathtub to give bathers more interior space as they enter/exit. Size: 31.75 in. x 52.25 in. x 38 in. (fits standard 60 in. opening with extension panel). The 5-Piece fast-fill (18GPM based on plumbing conditions) faucet has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The Royal also comes with Ella's Dual Drain Technology- the fastest gravity driven drain in the industry. It consists of two 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers. I did a full bathroom remodel to add a tub to my master bath and maximize the use of space. This tub was the perfect blend of wide and deep to make the 59" length not feel too short for me. Two people can share this tub. It is beautiful and solid. The only two things I would say is be aware that the drain is in the center of the tub so if you were to stretch out in it you will probably pop the drain. Also, sides this steep can be uncomfortable if you aren't planning on sitting up. Might need a cushion.
