Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. I did a full bathroom remodel to add a tub to my master bath and maximize the use of space. This tub was the perfect blend of wide and deep to make the 59" length not feel too short for me. Two people can share this tub. It is beautiful and solid. The only two things I would say is be aware that the drain is in the center of the tub so if you were to stretch out in it you will probably pop the drain. Also, sides this steep can be uncomfortable if you aren't planning on sitting up. Might need a cushion. We liked the brushed nickel as it doesn't show fingerprints or soap spots as much! This was very easy to install, had all the necessary parts included, and liked that it included the plate for perfect match. I do think it was unnecessarily tall. A few inches shorter and it still would've been great. It's nice when having to do large tasks in the kitchen sink like washing large soup pots or even pup baths for the shih tzus! Ella’s Monaco is vacuum formed from a solid acrylic sheet. Under the shell is a rust proof, stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers. The Monaco’s main feature is the U-Shape Outward Swing Door made with industrial grade durable plastic composite material with a decorative tempered glass front screen to conceal the mechanical door lock system. It opens outward, facilitating an easy entrance/exit. The door uses a gear/shaft driven 3-latch door lock. The Monaco comes with our unique Ella Dual Drain Technology consisting of two 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers, allowing a fast, reliable drain. The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, intensity dial control, and strategically positioned hydro jets. Ella's Monaco has 15 hydro jets to deliver therapeutic relief: 9 upper fixed jets work to provide relief to your back, hips and thighs, and 6 lower adjustable jets massage your feet and calves. The 5-Piece fast-fill faucet has: 2 temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The hot/cold lever controls the temperature and the third lever diverts water between the mounted faucet and hand shower. It has a fill rate of 18 GPM, based on plumbing conditions. While the tub fills, the Heated Seat & Backrest can keep you warm and comfortable. Note: The color of the white door frame may vary slightly from the white shell of the tub.
