As for the long run, tile is a sturdy material; however, grout requires regular care and maintenance to keep its look and integrity long term. Utile walls, on the other hand, offer smooth textures or have realistic and carefree faux grout lines that will not crack!

This is a great shower. One thing - please note that the interior length is around 46.5", *not* 45.5" as shown above. After prep, the installation took just an hour or so. It brings incredible amounts of freedom of movement, making it perfect for families with children and grandparents. To help ensure that the shower hose is a perfect length it is included along with many bars.

Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application.
