Door was installed in an exact 44" opening. There is a gap between the doors when they are fully shut but no water escapes the shower. A thin plastic strip should be included to correct the gap but it really doesn't matter. The inner door was difficult to install and adjust. It kept slipping off the track on the bottom plate. I don't recommend ordering this from Wayfair. We had to finally track down the freight company and see why it had been sitting in a town just 3 hours form us for over a week. They thought they were waiting for more cartons, when I contact wayfair I asked if they would let the freight company know that their were no more boxes and they told me know but I could. It took an additional 5 days after that to get it delivered. It was very frustrating with the lack of communication between Wayfair and the Freight company Of course we had our contractor and Plummer waiting on it also.
