They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. I just thought that part was odd. They haven't been installed yet so I need to update my review once that happens. I needed a little extra room for a 1/2 guest bathroom pedestal sink. I found the Delta Cassidy matching Glass Shelf with towel bar. The product information sheet showed that I did not need to install the towel bar. The glass shelf is the perfect size for decorative paper hand towels which are more sanitary than multiple use cloth towels when entertaining guests.
