We looked around for a long time to find this fan! I purchased this fan for my family room. It arrived well packed and quickly. It's been fantastic! I love this fan for it's looks more than any other fan in our home. It's just beautiful, not an eye sore like some fans can be. Transitional, modern, clean. I like the white, it disappears into the ceiling. The gold is a nice touch. It can go in almost any style of room. It elegantly updated my family room. Minka Aire moves the air around well and we really can't even hear it other than the soft sound of air moving. The remote makes it convenient to use and has a lot of nice features. The light is nice although we also have 4 can lights because the ceiling is tall and it was needed due to the size of the room and ceiling height. Still, it is nice to sometimes only have this light on when in the room. It gives off nice light and is adjustable too. This is a beautiful fan. I was surprised to see it is plastic. It is not white I would say more an off white. It is plenty large- which is good for my large room. The fan shakes when turned all the way up. I called customer service and they offered to have a new one sent. But that wouldve meant paying my electrician more to take it down and put up another one.
