The shade "Theo pink" is a more muted dusty pink and does not clash with other colors. It has a smooth finish as opposed to one with less give. It is comfortable to walk on, even barefoot, and my doggie seems like it as well. However, the rug is not so much intended to be plush, so you won't find that with it. The underside has a woven "grippy" texture to prevent sliding and is well made and not like some rugs with grippy dots. Generally, you can tell that this rug is pretty resistant and would be easy to keep for years. I've had it in my home for a few weeks now, and picking up any pet hair has been easy.
