Just installed this dreamline sliding shower door. We needed an option without a top rail because of the unusual structure of our bathroom. The bay window would not allow for a top rail install and the bathroom was too small for a pivot style door. This slider worked great. My only complaint is that the slider has a little too much play in the top glider and so rattles a bit. We plan to reduce the clearance with a thicker piece of rubber to eliminate that issue. We also have not been able to determine how to properly drain the inner channel. It seems to hold standing water after shower use. Could be user install error. Overall a great product.. Colette. I would give these doors 5 stars for the thickness of glass and quality but because the instructions left a lot to desire and difficult to assemble correctly causing friction between the two doors and hard to roll. Assembly wasn't an easy task, even for the professional I hired. It was necessary to uninstall it and reinstall it to get the glass positioned correctly because only one side of the glass is treated to avoid water spots. This is a high quality shower door and very attractive. The doors roll smoothly and silently on the rail and the bottom rail is designed to be cleaned easily. I’m very pleased with these flat black shower doors. They arrived quickly and were well-packaged, which made the whole process smooth from the start. The clean, modern design looks great in the bathroom and really elevates the space. The only downside is with the bypass doors—they really need to stay in the correct position. If they shift, it can create a gap that allows water to escape, which is a bit inconvenient. Aside from that minor issue, they’re a solid choice and look fantastic once installed.. Anonymous. NJ. We have been very happy with this shower door. The matte black finish looks great and gives our bathroom a clean, modern look. The glass feels sturdy and well-made, and door slides smoothly. Installation was fairly straightforward, but I would definitely recommend having two people for the job due to the weight of the glass panels. One of the features we were most interested in was the nano-coated glass, and it has not disappointed. We have hard water, yet the glass has stayed surprisingly clean and easy to maintain. We also haven’t experienced any leaks since installation. Overall, this shower door looks fantastic, functions exactly as it should, and has been a great addition to our bathroom. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
