I bought it in walnut. It looks really nice and seems very sturdy. I put it together my self (55F) over the course of a few hours after work with no issues. The only issue I had was that it had a defect in the glaze on front. The manufacturer offered a nice discount, so I decided to keep it. Perfect sideboard cabinet. The area in my breakfast nook used to end up filed with clutter and empty boxes. With this item I turned it into a bar. I should have done this years ago.... now I'll probably need to join AA. One thing I love about Wayfair furniture, the assembly instructions were concise and easy to follow. This lovely desk was a fabulous purchase! The price point is excellent for the quality. The legs are solid wood and although the desktop is MDF, it has a lovely grain is very heavy and looks expensive. There is no drawer so we added some lovely leather accoutrements for storage and a desk pad. We have a small office so the openness of the desk gives a feeling of space in the room.
