Solid wooden desk and it was relatively easy to put together. The wood is unfinished and you have to be careful when handling it so you don’t get splinters in your fingers. Unfortunately it came with a bit of chipped wood on one corner but it’s not much visible. For me the downside was that it has a VERY strong smell and made me cough so had to leave the door and windows open for air to flow. Other than that, it’s a good looking desk, and seems sturdy.. The Mingle desk brings together functionality, durability, and modern style, making it a perfect addition to any productive workspace.

Not normally the type to leave reviews, nor is this incentivized in any way. I simply adore this desk. Over the past several weeks, I spent much too many hours looking for a desk that was 1) real wood, solid, not damaged upon arrival or prone to immediate signs of wear, 2) something cozy but spacious, suitable for long hours writing, 3) with at least a little charm, personality, elegance while 4) within the realm of reason, price wise. I was seeking a certain stateliness, the almost grandfatherly feeling of a far older and more expensive desk within a brand new and not too expensive one, which is a fairly steep order. So if this checking all my personal boxes can save anyone else the extra headache I'd be happy. Very much the perfect desk. As I was putting it together, the scent of real wood was like the first warm breeze of spring drifting in through the window after a long long winter. I hope this desk will see me through many winters and springs, and plenty of writing to boot. Bonne chance, if you too.. Alaskita. New York. Mon Oct 19 2026

This bold, sleek writing desk is here to elevate your workspace with its clean lines and sturdy silhouette. Slender black metal legs feature angled supports for additional stability. The upper section is crafted from kiln-dried solid wood with a distinctive finish that brings an organic richness to your home office or living room. A side drawer and an open cubby give you lots of space for WFH essentials and other accessories. And the rectangular desktop measures 55" wide, a great surface for your laptop, a reading lamp, and more.

Slightly higher than most writing desks, so have a tall or adjustable chair nearby. Solid despite the stylish slender legs. Didn’t remove the surface wrapping until assembly in order to protect the desk surface. We then discovered a manufacturing problem - very sharp splintered edge on the open storage area. Wayfair CS passed the responsibility on to the manufacturer. Awaiting word on how they plan to current the issue.. Chris. Ocean Grove, NJ. Thu Aug 20 2026

The vintage desk is made of 100% FAS grade rubber wood to ensure durability and stability. Rubber wood not only provides a sturdy structure and high load-bearing quality, but also enhances the natural beauty and elegance.

Beautiful piece. Small scale and perfect for a small space. Easy to assemble and nice quality. Heather. US. Sun Jul 26 2026

The only reason I gave a 4 star was because I believe the delivery was handled poorly. And therefore the table top was damaged. To not put it all on the delivery driver, the packaging for a 70lb. tabletop was too thin with only 2 thin styrofoam sheets to protect the top with no corner padding. I did have simple delivery instructions added to my order but they were not followed. So now to my new replaced table top, and the Great customer service I received, with a replacement shipped and received in less than a week. I just absolutely love it. Perfect color as shown with the wood graining beautiful. The thickness is more than the original top I replaced and the edging around the table makes it look custom. I used my original table base and chairs and have a whole new updated vacation home look.. Linda. US. Mon Oct 12 2026
