Love this arbor! The instructions were very user‑friendly, and overall the assembly was straightforward. It definitely requires two people to put together, but once you get going it comes together nicely. I did have to redrill the holes where the rail attaches to the side lattice, but aside from that the process was simple. My biggest tip is to lay out all the pieces before starting so you can familiarize yourself with the components. Doing that made the assembly much easier. Very happy with the final result.. Diana. I'm absolutely in love. When I first pulled out the assembly instructions they were a little intimidating and I didn't realize it suggested digging holes and filling with cement to set the arch. Assembly wasn't difficult at all though and instead of setting in the ground in cement we drilled them to our flower beds for support. I got this for my sister's garden so she could grow bean plants on it. There are a lot of pieces but not too horrendous. They supply the tools which is nice. It took a while to put it all together and it doesn't seem super strong; the pieces of wood are thinner than I thought they would be but not too weak. I think with dirt and just beans growing on it, it should be fine. Not sure how long it will hold up, though. It is pretty and it is tall. There is a pic with it parallel to the fence, which is 5 feet tall. so, we might need a step stool to reach the beans, but I think that's ok....nothing against the product, especially if you are using it with people under it (which it would be great for - plenty of space horizontally and vertically. Writing this review after two seasons of use I am back to purchase another. Beautiful sturdy item for the price and holds up well but needs to be restained after the first year before anything grows over it too much, I included a photo after some weathering for reference..
