Beautiful table! I was debating between this one and several very high-end tulip tables at high-end retailers. I decided it was worth a try since it looked beautiful and the reviews were decent. There is a slight depression on the surface of my table in a small area, but I’m guessing that’s just a defect of my particular item. That said, I love it! Well-made, great price, and looks fabulous in the space. I have looked at many tables that are similar and this one is just as beautiful as the rest. It comes in two separate parts and is literally just a quick attachment of the base to the top. We LOVE this table. It's incredibly stable and sturdy, in spite of it's airy look. We did have help putting it together only because we're a little older and this is a very heavy table. But, that is exactly why we picked this one. We didn't want a table that moved around or tipped easily. Because the top is so heavy, it did get a small amount of damage during shipping because it broke through the packing at the bottom of the box, so the bottom edge of the table got a little scuffed. Stunning table, but requires a project to make it safe at least for me! This table looks amazing and the top is much more durable than standard tile. It does feel like tile, but it is not. However, the manufacturer’s support board stops 6 inches short of the edge. This leaves the rim vulnerable to cracking if someone leans on it to stand up. Because of this design flaw, I had to source a massive sheet of 3/4-inch plywood, get it delivered, and have it custom-cut into a perfect 58-inch circle to replace the factory piece. Aside from this installation hassle that can lead to injuries the leg is well-supported and the table is beautiful. Dimensions are spot on, definitely can fit 8, comfortably 6 chairs around.. Its stone surface is crafted from a blend of slate and marble, offering a smooth finish that stands up to scratches from daily use. A butterfly leaf mechanism allows you to easily expand the surface to accommodate larger gatherings or family meals. It also features a two-leaf design that seats up to eight people when fully extended.

Very happy with the table. We wanted an extendable table that held the "leaves" within the table and was round when extended. The "racetrack" shape when the "butterfly wing/leaves" are retracted is cooler than a typical rectangle or oval. I also wanted a near white (but with some contrasting details) stone-like top which is very hard to find in an extendable table. The base appears to be slightly lighter brown in color in person than online, but I prefer that. Ignore the chairs in the pictures; we haven't picked out chairs for the new table yet. The extension mechanism (see photo) works very smoothly, and you can do with one hand and little strength. You can have neither extended, only 1 extended, or both extended which works well for our needs (kid comes home from college, etc). There's a tiny bit of uneven-ness in the height at one end of the leaves when extended, but probably only 2 mm (and maybe fixable if we tried.) Delivery was on time with excellent communication via texts and call and with updates for a narrower delivery window provided. They brought it in and assembled it for us. Happy with the purchase. Other places on-line had similar tables but not the exact same one. In particular, the stone top having the grey details seemed harder to find. The base of this table seems very sturdy yet is not wide enough to get in the way of anyone's legs and we have tall teenage boys. We have not had problems with our legs hitting the "leaves" when they are not extended. It looks and feels like something that cost this much or more. Recommend.. Jennifer. Glen Allen, VA.
