This table is a beauty. It's black with a bit of wood grain texture on the top. It fits the space nicely, seats 6 chairs comfortably, and can be used casually. I have it sitting on an 8X10 rug. With the right setting, it can look a bit more formal as well. I love this purchase. I would have given it five stars, 1) but the wood grain textured design is not smooth when wiping the table, it has a bit of snag against the towel and 2) there is a tiny knick on the table that shows the brown wood under the painted top. Beautiful table! Great finish and dark gray color. Durable paint but will not withstand nail polish remover. Neighbor kid accidentally got a sharpie mark the very first day and I freaked out. Tested a spot underneath with nail polish remover and it took the finish right off. Then I tried a Clorox wipe and that was ok. After some scrubbing with the wipe the mark came off. Whew!. Lillian. Stunning table, but requires a project to make it safe at least for me! This table looks amazing and the top is much more durable than standard tile. It does feel like tile, but it is not. However, the manufacturer’s support board stops 6 inches short of the edge. This leaves the rim vulnerable to cracking if someone leans on it to stand up. Because of this design flaw, I had to source a massive sheet of 3/4-inch plywood, get it delivered, and have it custom-cut into a perfect 58-inch circle to replace the factory piece. Aside from this installation hassle that can lead to injuries the leg is well-supported and the table is beautiful. Dimensions are spot on, definitely can fit 8, comfortably 6 chairs around..
