This round dining table is the perfect – and classic – upgrade to your dining room or breakfast nook. It's crafted from kiln-dried solid and engineered wood with a weathered finish that lends a rustic vibe. We love the sturdy pedestal base. Seating up to four, it's complete when paired with the chairs of your choice and some pretty table linens.

Some key pieces in the base have slowly come apart after assembling. Even after using a set torque setting, it came apart and makes a tremendous amount of noise. I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. Beautiful table! Easy to assemble with 2 people. (I would definitely recommend 2 people, I don't even know how it would be possible for 1 person...) The finish is not a dark brown/walnut, it has an orange tint to the wood tone. Can seat 6 people comfortably. (I highly doubt you can fit 8 people.) It's almost been a year and the table is still standing. We use it every night for our family of 5, and it's the go to table when guests arrive. HOWEVER, the table is starting to become squeaky. Any time you apply weight to the tabletop, or try to move the table, it squeaks.... LOUDLY. We've lubricated all the screws and joints, placed felt between the joining wood parts, and tightened the screws. It still makes A LOT of noise. We would LOVE to find a remedy to this problem, because we LOVE the table. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I wasn’t expecting the seam down the middle for the table top (but seems to come with the round table territory ) also the instructions could’ve been a little clearer when it came to the drawer but otherwise easy build - feels sturdy so far and looks beautiful just as described!
