We had bought the add on top shelf to extend the upper shelf space but realized our closet wasn’t tall enough to accommodate it which is fine and now we have this small hidden storage spot on top. Really impressed with how easy it was to put together. I did have to have the shelves cut down to fit my closet, but I knew that going into purchasing and I also cut down one of the metal rods as well because the far side is short shorter (by my design).
