It looks nicer than I expected. The veneer looks really good. Almost wouldn’t think it is veneer. Only downside to the aesthetics is the screws. This didn’t come with cover stickers or caps so you can see four screw heads on each side and three on the top. I’ll start by saying I ordered the more expensive version because the pictures made it seem more thick and sturdy. It actually looks just like the cheaper version. It’s not bamboo it’s cheap balsa wood. It has rough, raw, unfinished surfaces on all sides and splinters everywhere. It’s definitely not capable of holding those water jugs like the pictures. This clothing rack is good but it is very light overall. I did not attach it to the wall. I would recommend that you anchor it with heavier items on the bottom racks. You can build it on your own but recommend 2 people to put it together. You also need a small screwdriver for the very last assembly piece for the metal cross-bar poles (attached in the back after you stack the bottom and top shelfs together). Screwdriver not included with packaging but does come with everything else, including the L-shaped hex key. This garmet rack is a really good option for a college student or even extra hanging space for a kids room. It's a really cute rack and was pretty quick and easy to put together, but it is not very sturdy. So far it has stayed up but I don't think it will allow too many clothes to be hung on it before it starts to fall apart. I'm hoping I am wrong.
