This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. Adjustable Height Electric Desk

Desk arrived a day early which was nice. Fast shipping! I think it looks larger than it actually is but its still nice enough. Its not real big wood, but that being said I think its a decent desk. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble and the directions lacked a bit in some areas. If you are mechanically inclined you can figure it out no problem. Some of the items were labeled incorrectly and some not at all so you really had to study the picture to make you had the correct piece. Also if you just make sure to pay attention to the orientation of the pieces youll be ok. As luck would have it I didnt make one single mistake (that never happens!). The spindle that turns the desk is difficult to insert into the side piece. I recommend lubing up with some soap. Works well without issue once all together. Nice feature to have a standing desk. This Inbox Zero Lorentz sit‑stand desk showed up in two very heavy boxes (around 90 lbs each), so the delivery alone felt like a mini workout. Building it solo with ADHD took a few hours and a couple of “rewind and fix” moments, but the instructions were clear—I just managed to overlook a few things along the way. Once assembled, the quality really shows. The drawers and cabinet close cleanly, the desk raises and lowers quietly and smoothly, and the larger size gives me plenty of room for both work and gaming. The only confusing part was the wire hiders underneath—usually there are markings for screw placement, but this one had none. I also wish the cabinet had cable holes in the back or middle. Be aware that the 55” measurement is for the desk part only. The drawer area is not included in this measurement. The desk itself is good. Lots of space on the top level for two (or three) monitors. Plenty of workspace on the desk. Standing function a big plus and works well. The only thing I don’t like is that the bottom drawer isn’t a file folder. The drawer could have been made deep enough for this feature but for some reason it was not included in the design. Came well packaged. A few pieces chipped (small) and some dirty (cleaned up well). This desk has completely exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The built-in standing desk feature is fantastic, and the programmable height settings make it easy to switch between sitting and standing with the touch of a button. The storage is well thought out. I love that the bottom drawer accommodates hanging file folders, and while the drawers aren’t especially deep, they provide plenty of space for everyday office supplies. The three open shelves underneath the desk are another great bonus for additional storage. Assembly was a bit time-consuming and took about 4 to 4.5 hours, but the finished product is sturdy, functional, and looks great. I love this desk! It was perhaps not the easiest to put together, but if you have a drill that will speed up the process and I’m also NOT A BUILDER but mine is built perfectly and has been taken apart, moved, and rebuilt wonderfully! I would highly recommend this as a piece for your work from home set up. It’s spacious and fits my two monitors, two laptops, a keyboard, mouse, notepad (plus whatever on the cabinet portion!!
