Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. I’m giving this desk 4 stars because, while it is very spacious and offers plenty of room to work, I ran into several issues. I consider myself quite handy and enjoy putting furniture together, but the instructions were not the best. Additionally, one of the wooden planks arrived damaged. To make it fit my son’s bedroom layout, I had to reverse the configuration even though the desk isn’t designed to be reversible. Because of this, I had to place the angled plank upside down and couldn’t screw it into the metal frame however, this allowed the damaged part to face downward so it isnt noticeables. I was able to properly screw in the rectangular plank. While the metal frame is very sturdy and the desk provides a great amount of workspace, another downside is that fingerprints show up very easily on the wood. Overall I am very pleased (so far) with this desk. Admittedly, I am writing this review on the very first workday that I am using it, so I am still trying to get a feel for it compared to my old desk. As far as functionality goes, I give it 5-stars. It’s very easy to use and smoothly operates for height adjustment. It wasn’t overly difficult to put together even though it did take my husband and about 4 hours to do so. Ironically, the drawers were the most difficult part because the instructions (at least to us) weren’t too clear. We’re both quite adept at building furniture from a box, so to have stumped us is saying something. Speaking of the drawers, since this is a large desk, I’d rather have a second keyboard tray than the drawers. The main reason I’m giving it 4-stars is that the LED light strip all too easily broke while adding it to the desk. BTW, the installation of the light strip was also less the ideally shown in the instructions. But, the manufacturer is working on sending out a new kit to me even as I type this out, so at least the issue is getting corrected. Other than that, I will say that so far, I truly am enjoying the desk! I do LOVE the fact that you can have up to 4 presets saved. That’s far more helpful than I even originally thought it would be. This is my first standing desk, so it’s new territory for me. All in all, though, I would definitely recommend this desk. Just be sure to be super careful when sticking the LED strip to the desk because it snaps way too easily. So far, so impressed! My office remodel got delayed so the desk is still an assembly-in-process, but the materials are all solid and in great shape. Be advised that it does ship in two boxes and they're both fairly heavy, so many hands will make light work. I'll report back with updated photos once the desk is fully set up. *UPDATE* Added a photo of the installed desk, as promised. I am so, so happy with this in my office, it holds everything that I need without feeling too cluttered and I can't get over how open and spacious my office feels with what is now a *larger* desk than I has before.
