Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. These sheets feel pretty durable. The pocket fits my 24" hybrid mattress, in fact, the elastic goes all the way 'round and underneath it. The lack of softness, and wrinkling earns a -1 star. I do not believe these to have been brushed at all. Fortunately they feel durable enough to survive many a washing and may soften with time. Thankfully the sheets are not noisy. Teri.
