Absolutely love this desk. I searched forever to find the perfect size desk with the storage needed plus the cute factor. Few things to note 1. Don’t try to swap the drawer sides or you have a massive gap on the side from the desktop 2. The instructions show you the sides swapped with the flat side of the shelf unit facing out - this is a dirty trick. Don’t try it or you off center desk. 3. Swap step 8 and 7. You’ll thank me later. 4. 2-4 hours is a lie IF you follow the directions. I had to rework 3 times which put me at 5-6 hours of putting together. 5. I waited 5 months for this desk to come back into stock. Although it’s the look I wanted, the rework and cussing was not to my satisfaction. Also, the one thing that cost the rating ONE STAR is how "sharp" the edges on the black desktop are... we ended up buying a custom-sized stitched leather desk topper for the desk which greatly enhanced the appearance and also makes it much more comfortable when we rest our arms on the edges while typing. Overall I'm happy with the desk. Feet were missing but I was easily able to let customer service know who will be shipping out new feet. Solid wood so the desk feels sturdy.
