Arrived damaged on one corner and a small dent thru the veneer on the table top. Wayfair said the manufacturer would reach out in two business days but its so heavy I dont want to handle a return. I think Ill put a coat of lacquer on it to keep my kids from scratching it. For the price this is an excellent solid table. Fits great in my small space and two wider chairs still fit side by side on the length. The table was exactly what I expected, when you put the top together, you need to use a wood clamp at least 31 1/2” capacity to squeeze the two pieces together before you screw down the plates that hold it in a correct alignment, then there won’t be much of a gap. Mine came out with in tolerance. I couldn’t slide a piece of paper between them. But it definitely could use a coat or three of polyurethane to seal the table top, i will do it myself. Just a fyi!
