This table is HEAVYYYYY!!!!! Solid wood and very sturdy. I have moved into my first home and have put together a ton of pieces of furniture and this one would’ve been worth it to pay someone to do. It was kind of tricky getting the shelf to line up with the notches in the legs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the wood split on both sides of the shelf by the leg and because of the water spots on one area of the table top. I’m giving them four stars because the assembly instructions are not very clear. The first chair took us way too long to assemble because we followed the instructions exactly as they were shown. It wasn’t until we finished the first chair that I realized the instructions are actually in the wrong order. I started with the last step instead, and after that, assembling the other chairs was super easy and much faster. For a moment, we honestly regretted buying them because the first one was so frustrating to put together. But once we figured out the correct way to assemble them, it really wasn’t that bad.
