Both my partner and I sat on the bench while it was fully extended and it was very study. Although it was packaged pretty well, my item still came damaged on the bottom. This set is a nice cozy little table which has saved space in our lounge area. It was relatively easy to set up in terms of the number of parts, but you definitely need two people. The table has sharp pointed edges. so if you have little ones you may want to get corner protectors. Otherwise, the table is relatively lightweight and moves easily, so I recommend getting something when we need to hold it still if you do not have carpeted floors.
