I know you can buy cheaper ones, but this one is made in the USA, stacks/nests into other rain barrels for winter storage (if you live in a cold climate like me), and it's nice to look at. Water Aerator for Pond helps all biological processes and creates a more stable environment, resulting in healthier fish and plants. Aeration is also very important during winter months in colder climates, as aeration helps to keep a small hole open in the surface of the pond to aid in degassing.
