Solid wooden desk and it was relatively easy to put together. The wood is unfinished and you have to be careful when handling it so you don’t get splinters in your fingers. Unfortunately it came with a bit of chipped wood on one corner but it’s not much visible. For me the downside was that it has a VERY strong smell and made me cough so had to leave the door and windows open for air to flow. Other than that, it’s a good looking desk, and seems sturdy.. Desk was delivered quickly, easy to assemble looks great , my only concern not complaint is FedEx delivery service is horrible. I really wish they wouldn’t use FedEx , makes me think twice about ordering large items . Threw the 135 lbs box on my front lawn the 135lb box. Anonymous. US. Sat Oct 17 2026

The only reason I gave a 4 star was because I believe the delivery was handled poorly. And therefore the table top was damaged. To not put it all on the delivery driver, the packaging for a 70lb. tabletop was too thin with only 2 thin styrofoam sheets to protect the top with no corner padding. I did have simple delivery instructions added to my order but they were not followed. So now to my new replaced table top, and the Great customer service I received, with a replacement shipped and received in less than a week. I just absolutely love it. Perfect color as shown with the wood graining beautiful. The thickness is more than the original top I replaced and the edging around the table makes it look custom. I used my original table base and chairs and have a whole new updated vacation home look.. Linda. US. Mon Oct 12 2026
