This is a very nice cabinet. Assembly is the cam and lock style which is very common for furniture. If you've done that before, assembly is easy. If you haven't, just go slow and follow the directions. They are pretty self-explanatory. Assembly can be done by one person, but there are a couple steps where it would be helpful to have a second set of hands. Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing.
