No matter what I do I cannot get this pole in the middle level. Other than that it’s great. I fired it up temporarily to make sure it worked & it did. It’s sitting inside because I need a cover for it. I will move it out on our covered breezeway. We live in FL so this is perfect for those nights it’s a little too chilly. It’s a gift so I didn’t want to run it too long. For the most part the assembly is easy. I have three parts left that are not in the directions at all. I even had both my kids read them to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. My guess is they are for the center support & have something to do with holding the propane tank. I love the “table” that goes around it. Perfect for a few little decorations. That I can get level despite the center pole. It’s all ready to give to my partner for Christmas. After spending a substantial amount of time reading reviews and product ratings for several 40 gallon gas water heaters, I selected this unit which was on sale for a competitive price. All my appliances are the GE brand and have been very reliable over time. Most big box brands only come with a 6-year tank warranty although upgradeable at an extra charge.
