It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Only issues we found with it was the sides were not milled quite straight/square so had to sand down a bit on one end.
