Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. It’s so pretty I can’t take it. It did come in a giant box and was very well protected and fully assembled. It’s extremely heavy and solid. It is a great size, petite enough to fit in a small space, while large enough drawers to fit a lot. I used mine for my record player setup and it looks gorgeous. It is definitely way too heavy to go up the stairs. All the gorgeous luxury details you could want are there, especially love the soft close drawers, leather hardware, and gorgeous wood grain!. I think this is a terrific mattress for the price. It looks and feels well-made and it's very comfortable, supportive, and soft to the touch. It was easy to slice open the plastic wrapping it came in without fear of touching the mattress with a sharp edge because a special little tool is provided to do exactly that. And it was fairly easy to maneuver it around by myself to get it centered on the bed slats.
