This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. I had the R10000-UNBXHF valve body (in conjuction with the T17038-SS Lahara 17 series valve trim) installed 16 months ago and the shower head is now dripping when the valve is turned fully in the off position. Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. I’m so disheartened about this purchase. It’s been a complete debacle from the beginning. We ordered this couch in December and I had to inquire on its whereabouts in January. I was informed it was lost in transit and they sent a new one. A couch was delivered and was heavily stained and missing the bottom of the chaise. I called Wayfair and was informed that the delivered couch was the first lost in transit couch and the replacement was coming yet. At this point I was irritated but still holding out that the replacement would be ok. Second couch arrived and to my dismay, was torn and had rips in the fabric and one corner was completely deformed and mangled. I am nauseated thinking I spent 3,000 on this. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
