The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. We recently selected this shower door for a bathroom refresh. We didn't want to do custom glass in this kids bathroom, and opted to save a bit and go with a premade frameless shower door. The quality of the materials is exceptional for our needs here! Achieving a "high-end" look often comes down to the weight and finish of the hardware, and this door delivers on both counts. The brass finish is sophisticated and has a beautiful, soft luster. It isn't that overly shiny "fake" gold. The hinges feel substantial and provide a smooth, heavy inswing and outswing. The 3/8" tempered glass is crystal clear. It makes the entire bathroom feel much larger and more open, which is exactly the "airy" vibe I was going for. Because this is a frameless design, precision is key. The wall hinges are sturdy and the seal is tight, preventing any water leakage without needing bulky metal framing.
