Surprisingly, the bed almost looks like a full-size bed because of how spacious the room is. If you have a large bedroom and have been debating whether to upgrade to a king-size bed, consider this your sign to do it! Assembly was the only challenging part. It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. However, once everything was put together, it was completely worth it. The bed feels very sturdy, looks high-end, and paired with our mattress, it is beyond comfortable. I have a 12” mattress that works really with the height of the headboard. The dresser is actually better in person than in the picture. I was expecting it to be lighter like the image, but in real life it’s a bit darker and I love. The only thing is that the instructions were a bit confusing in the beginning, as you can see I mistakenly have the screws looking outward instead of in and the draws don’t come out as much as I thought they would.
