Some key pieces in the base have slowly come apart after assembling. Even after using a set torque setting, it came apart and makes a tremendous amount of noise. I’m super happy with this. I almost didn’t buy it and looked for a long time to buy something else because of the one review that talks about crumbs getting in the crevices and having to vacuum it. I really hate crumbs and all of that but so far, it’s not been a big issue for me whatsoever. I have vacuumed it a couple times but they come right out. The crevice is not so small that they really get stuck in there. It’s beautiful and well worth the prize. I was looking at things that were three times the amount for this level of quality.. Lora. Beautiful table! Easy to assemble with 2 people. (I would definitely recommend 2 people, I don't even know how it would be possible for 1 person...) The finish is not a dark brown/walnut, it has an orange tint to the wood tone. Can seat 6 people comfortably. (I highly doubt you can fit 8 people.) It's almost been a year and the table is still standing. We use it every night for our family of 5, and it's the go to table when guests arrive. HOWEVER, the table is starting to become squeaky. Any time you apply weight to the tabletop, or try to move the table, it squeaks.... LOUDLY. We've lubricated all the screws and joints, placed felt between the joining wood parts, and tightened the screws. It still makes A LOT of noise. We would LOVE to find a remedy to this problem, because we LOVE the table. Well it took 5 months to receive my new table and it was well worth it!!! The delivery/set up company-service was 5 star!!! They did a great job with delivery and installation. However... Wayfair did a poor job of communicating my contact info to the delivery company, I stayed home/missed work for the first delivery date and it was a "no show" because Wayfair gave the delivery people incorrect info. The second delivery date was set for between 11-3PM (yes took off another day from work) the morning of the delivery I received a text message at 7:30 AM that they would be delivering in 30 minutes (hours too early,) the delivery people were super nice and changed the time to when I could receive the delivery - they even showed me the message from Wayfair to them telling them to deliver my table at a much earlier time. Moral of the story - Yes the table is great and I love it, but... Wayfair - please figure out what is going on with your communication with your delivery service!!!
