Set up a little while ago layers snap but don’t seem very tight. Its much louder streaming than I thought, tried adjusting pump but haven’t gotten it to sound smoother trickling. It’s a gorgeous fountain. I don’t know how anyone would be able to hook this up without professional help. It took two men to lift it out of the box piece by piece and assemble it. It has a great water sound and a bit of a splash. Because it’s on pavers I’m not sure what I can do to prevent the splash on the floor. This fountain produces a cascading sound that can be heard from a distance, even with moderate traffic, and a heavy amount of splash. This fountain has heavy components and may require lifting assistance.

This fountain is stately and beautiful. It took several people to lift the lower portions into place because it is really heavy. Then, the individual bowls had to be leveled separately. Once assembled, however, it was easy to operate. We noticed that in hot, humid weather the water evaporates quickly and we have to keep refilling the bottom bowl. Lovely and the birds and bees love it. Black started flaking off tho during the first couple of months. We only paint the outside (in the off season after drying) for critter safety, but 3 yrs now and it’s still running with the same pump. Bought a birdbath heater and used it right through winter last so seems pretty soiid. For the price, I expect at least 5 year lifespan and the current condition would seem it will make that. Caryl.
