I know you can buy cheaper ones, but this one is made in the USA, stacks/nests into other rain barrels for winter storage (if you live in a cold climate like me), and it's nice to look at. The rain barrel looks as nice as the pictures. The mesh to keep the bugs out does not fits snuggly snuggly and I will need to add aluminum screen. There are two round cut outs near the top at the back of the rain barrel and I assume that’s for venting air as the barrel fills as well as when water is dispensed. Or I suppose it could be for overflow There was no diagram of the rain barrel explaining all the nuances. I really like this rain barrel. The green color is more muted than in the picture. It’s more of a gray-green than olive green.
