This solid surface countertop is cast out of a mixture of stone, aluminum & acrylic resin. The stain-resistant material is easy to clean and maintain. Due to its special mixtures, the material can be sanded down for removing scratches and restored to its original matte finish within a matter of seconds. Like the quality of the sink. Opened the box and checked for damage upon arrival. I found that the mounting rail for the installation bolts was completely off on one long side and partially off on the other long side. Although I am a bit disappointed I am going to keep the sink and epoxy the rails back in place. This should not be happening with a sink in this price range.
