Shed went together easily, with decent directions. I understand why the metal is covered with plastic to protect during shipping, but it peels and looks bad in time. We've had ours up for 2 winters now in Vermont, and no damage, doors and latches still work. I recommend setting this up on 2 pallets with plywood attached on top if it isn't going on a hard level surface. Tolerances are tight, and you will be happier with the result if it's on a perfectly level surface. Too bad about the peeling plastic, as it's a good looking shed for the money. Patience is a virtue - I was able to put this shed together by myself in about 10 hours. Picture instructions were 90% adequate however there were some steps I had to really focus on the drawings to determine where the pieces fit - inside/outside position grooves. Some of the screw instructions were not as clear as I would have liked. Definitely use a drill to help screws go in cleanly and keep closer to the outer edges to ensure screws actually go into walls. Having a second pair of hands during the wall & roof installation would have been less taxing physically. Screws for door hinges have no spares and as 2 of the 24 provided did not fit really well and I ended up stripping one of them and the other was only able to tighten half way I would have like the floor to be a bit firmer than it is. And the sizing is more 4.5 ft x 2.5 ft which was a bit of let down as I wanted to fit my current shelving units on both sides. I also would have liked a middle roof bracket to give it more stability for the door opening, plus I think it would have helped make the roof installation a bit easier.. Christine. North Saanich, BC. Love this shed, especially for the price! I wanted something that wasn’t too large since I have limited space, and this ended up being the perfect size. I looked at a ton of different sheds and spent a lot of time reading reviews before deciding on this one, and I’m glad I did. Assembly was very straightforward. My boyfriend put it together by himself in about three hours while I was at work and didn’t run into any issues. A couple of nice bonuses are that it comes with a floor and a lock, which saved me from having to buy those separately. I’ll probably add some hooks to the walls to make organizing tools a little easier, but overall it has plenty of room for what I need. The only downside I’ve noticed is that there isn’t a lot of airflow, so it can get pretty hot inside on warm days. That should be an easy fix with some added ventilation, though. This is a really nice storage cabinet. The size is perfect and the colors look great, which was a big plus for us. Putting it together definitely takes two people, and some of the instructions were a little confusing. It did come with extra screws, which was nice and helped just in case. It felt a bit flimsy on its own so you want to use the ground spikes. It comes with once those are in. It is actually very very stable. It does exactly what we needed it to do.
