This was the first ceiling fan that I have installed and putting the item together itself was a breeze. The instructions were very clear and I found the video to be clear and provided a quick and brief overview. I wish the video was a little slower in showing all the actual connections but I was able to figure it out after about 5-10 min of looking it over and pausing the video. That was the only thing that was vague. Putting it up was challenging for me just because holding it up and connecting everything with jello arms is hard lol . This was super easy installation and the light is amazingly bright. You can pick whatever color that you want with the LED control. My boy loves it. We put this in his bedroom. We arent using this on a daily basis yet. But, it is mounted and we have tried it out. It seems to change every color and color combination imaginable. The fan seems to have adequate air flow. I wanted to replace my bulky ceiling fan with a model that wasn't quite so obvious. The unit was simple to install , and took just minutes. The fan is quiet and puts out a good amount of air, but is not directional. The light is adjustable to color and ( even bright rainbow colors!) and intensity, but doesn't seem as bright as the lumens suggest. Update: couldn't wait any longer. I asked a professional how to install thos light they told me exactly how to do and I did it. It was actually easy. The only hard part was holding my arms up to attach to the ceiling, and getting over the fear that im going to electrocute myself. I shook the fear off and I did it. It took me a little longer because I didn't have a ladder but if I did it would have been done in a flash. My daughter loves it. What I like about it is that it has several light options. You know when you have your light on but its just not bright enough or its to bright. This light fixes all of that with the different light settings. My daughter likes the color option the best. Great for all ages. 5 stars. my daughter really wants this light so I ordered it because I thought it was plug-in type . Its not its hardwire. I dont know anything about electrical installation so I was going to send it back and being that Wayfair has no problem with keeping there customers happy thats one of the main reasons I always shop there first I was given the opportunity to return. With easy instructions. However my son told his sister he will put it up for her when he gets back from deployment so I know this light has got to be 5 stars because shes waiting.
