Very nice hood for the price. Gives off a good amount of light but is a little loud at highest fan setting. The unit is whisper quiet depending on the setting. Even on high, it’s much more quiet than the traditional non inverter units. It’s worth the bump in price. This window ac unit does everything it should. Its small but mighty. I have it in a smaller bedroom and it cools it down very quickly! The lowest temp is 61 as a timer and all the basic features that a window unit usually comes with. You can turn the display off the lights in the display with the remote or you can leave it on. The display is very clear to read. I know its more of a personal preference, but I like how the remote is kind of bulky and a nice size. I always lose smaller things so I appreciate the size of the remote. The installation is what you would expect with any window AC unit. Nothing special. I like this range hood it serves its purpose pretty well it is a little loud. we had a difficult time installing it because to me the instructions were not very clear we end up damaging the inner chimney and had to reorder and it took forever and then they sent us the wrong one then the right one was on backorder so it took a while to get a replacement part.
